greece passport matters

All passengers entering Greece must have a valid passport for at least six (6) months beyond their scheduled exit date from Israel.

For example, if your exit date is January 1, your passport must be valid until July 1 of the same year.

If you are a foreign resident residing in the United States, you must travel with your Alien Registration Card and a valid passport from your native country for departure and re-entry into the United States. Additionally, you may need to acquire an entry visa for Israel. Some of our clients have found this website helpful in determining their need to acquire an entry visa before arriving in Israel.

For US citizens without a passport meeting the above requirement, Discipleship Travel LLC recommends immediate action to acquire a new passport. Depending on the State Department’s workload and federal holidays, the process can take weeks to months.

Passport applications are available at local government offices, most area post offices, and some libraries.  Passports are valid for ten years from the date of issue (five years for applicants under eighteen).

… you MUST apply in person at a Passport Acceptance Facility (i.e., government offices, post offices, and some libraries). To find the nearest Passport Acceptance Facility, click here.

You need the following documents:

1. FORM DS-11.  (click here to download)

Although you should complete the form prior to arriving at the Passport Acceptance Facility, DO NOT SIGN the document until instructed to do so by the Passport Officer.

BEFORE TRAVELING

Be sure that you have your passport and airline ticket on your person before you leave home for the airport. You should make two photocopies of your passport in case you misplace your passport during the trip. Put one copy in your checked luggage and the other in your carry-on.
