DAY 1 – September 17
Departing from Los Angeles (LAX), the group will connect with an overnight flight to Tel Aviv (TLV).
DAY 2 – September 18
You are scheduled to arrive in Tel Aviv at 9:55PM. You will transfer to your hotel in Netanya, on the coast of the Mediterranean.

DAY 3 – September 19
Today, you will make your way to the Sea of Galilee. Along the way, you will visit Caesarea, where Paul almost persuaded Agrippa to be a Christian; Mt. Carmel, where Elijah challenged the prophets of Ba’al; Megiddo, which guards over the Valley of Armageddon; Jezreel, the home of Ahab and Jezebel; and, finally the Nazareth Overlook, which provides an amazing look over the valley below, sometimes called the “Grand Central Station of Bible History.”

DAY 4 – September 20
This day’s activities focus on the life and ministry of Jesus, including the Church of Annunciation, Arbel Cliff, the Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, Capernaum, Magdala, and sailing on the Sea of Galilee.

DAY 5 – September 21
This day will be spent in the north. You will visit Tel Dan and see Jereboam’s altar and a rare mud brick gate from the time of Abraham. Next, you will drive up to Caesarea Philippi (Banias) where Peter made his confession, “Thou art the Christ, the son of the living God.” Returning by way of the Golan Heights you will stop at Hippus.

DAY 6 – September 22
Today, you make your way south through the Jordan River Valley. You will begin the day at Bet Shean, the city where Saul’s body was hung on the wall, and Qasr el Yehud, a possible location of Jesus’ baptism. Continuing south, you will visit Jericho, Qumran, hike at En Gedi, and swim in the Dead Sea.

DAY 7 – September 23
You will begin this transfer day by ascending Masada. On the way to Jerusalem, you will visit Arad, Beersheba, Lachish, Azekah, and Bet Shemesh.

DAY 8 – September 24
An early breakfast will get you ready for a wonderful day in Jerusalem, the Holy City. You will begin the day with a lecture that provides an overview of Jerusalem. Afterward, A visit to the Old Testament Jerusalem Model will help you understand the history and development of Jerusalem during the OT period. You will visit Hezekiah’s Broad Wall, the City of David, Warren’s Shaft, the the Pool of Siloam. You will finish the day at the Citadel of David.

DAY 9 – September 25
Today, you will drive north through the Central Benjamin Plateu and visit Mt. Gerezim, the mountain sacred to the Samaritans, which overlooks biblical Shechem. Afterward, you will visit Shiloh, where the ark of the covenant rested for about 300 years.
In the afternoon, you will focus on some New Testament stories while visiting the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Upper Room, the Roman Cardo, and the Church of Holy Sepulcher.
After dinner you will tour the Western Wall Tunnel, which runs along the Western Wall of the Temple Mount.

DAY 10 – September 26
After an early breakfast, you will ascend the Temple Mount, the most sacred area in the world for Jews and the third holiest for Muslims. After coming off the Temple Mount you will visit the Pools of Bethesda, a portion of the Via Dolorosa., and the Garden Tomb.
In the afternoon, you will visit the archaeological wing of the Israel Museum. At the same location you will also visit the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit, and the scale Model of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus.

DAY 11 – September 27
This morning begins with an overview of Jerusalem from the Mt. of Olives. From there, you will walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane.
Afterward, you will visit the area in and around Bethlehem
A free late afternoon will give you the opportunity to clean up, and prepare for your transfer to Jordan tomorrow morning.

DAY 12 – September 28
After breakfast, you will transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your return flight. You are scheduled to arrive at LAX at 4:55PM.

MINIMUM PARTICIPANTS: The minimum number of participants for this tour is fifteen (15). In the case that fifteen (15) participants fail to register and/or make final payment, the group may be canceled by Discipleship Travel LLC and all payments, less a $100/per person handling fee, will be returned. Alternatively, Discipleship Travel LLC and the group leader may agree on a supplement to be paid by each participant to continue with the tour even though there are less than fifteen (15) participants. If the group fails to be viable, Discipleship Travel LLC is not responsible for, nor will Discipleship Travel LLC reimburse any expenses incurred by participants in preparation for the tour.
ITINERARY CHANGES
The related itinerary is subject to change due to airline disruptions or schedule changes, or local conditions, which may include, among other things, weather, security, and crowd considerations.
If an itinerary change necessitates extra overnights, each participant will be responsible for any additional costs resulting from such changes.
PASSPORTS
All participants must have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond their return date. Any participant that intends to travel on a non-USA passport, is solely responsible for knowing and meeting the entry requirements for their destination country. The Government of Israel provides visa information here.
Each participant is solely responsible to obtain and maintain a valid passport. Discipleship Travel LLC is not responsible to secure a passport for participants, nor for verifying the validity of currently held passports.
PHOTOGRAPHY
By registering for this tour, participants give Discipleship Travel LLC permission to use and publish photographs in which they may be included for the use of promotion, print, editorial, advertising or other related purposes without financial compensation. Additionally, by registering for this tour, participants specifically release Discipleship Travel LLC from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Due to airline contracts, bus size, and included porterage, participants are allowed one checked bag, not to exceed 62 inches (length plus width plus depth) and 50 lbs. Participants may also bring one carry-on item and one personal item. Participants should consult the airline’s international baggage regulations as restrictions frequently vary by airline and may change without notice.
CANCELATION REFUND POLICY
The following cancellation/refund policy applies to 2402 Dr Grisanti Study Tour:
Cancellations up to 131 days prior to group departure will receive a full refund less a $100 processing fee.
Any cancellation between 130-91 days prior to group departure will receive a full refund less a $500 penalty plus any airline penalties.**
Any cancellation between 90-80 days prior to group departure will receive a full refund less a $1500 penalty plus any airline penalties.**
Any cancellation less than 80 days prior to group departure will receive no refund.
**Airline penalties refers to any cancellation fee(s) imposed by the airline and/or any fund not recovered from the airline. According to the specific airline contract, cancellations may result in a credit or travel voucher from the airline, depending on the date of cancellation. Travel credits/vouchers can be used in the future according to the conditions established by the airline.
Tours are not transferable.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The traveler assumes all responsibility for knowing about and meeting the entry requirements for their destination whether those requirements are related to entry visas, vaccination(s), insurance, travel documents or any other entry requirement(s) established by the host country.
TRAVEL INSURANCE NOTIFICATION
Discipleship Travel LLC strongly encourages the traveler to obtain appropriate travel insurance coverage against the risks inherent in travel. However, the traveler is not obligated to purchase travel insurance in order to purchase this tour package.
Discipleship Travel LLC is not a seller of travel insurance and does not advise the traveler regarding specific insurance needs. The traveler should request policy information or clarification from a licensed seller of travel insurance.
In the tour documents (e.g., the group webpage and invoice) and in various locations at the company website, Discipleship Travel LLC provides Internet links to a travel insurance provider (AIG: Travel Guard) that offers a variety of travel insurance policies. See https://discipleshiptravel.com. The aforementioned links are a service to our clients and should not be considered a mandate to purchase travel insurance from the linked provider.

LEGAL JURISDICTION
As a condition of purchasing a tour package from Discipleship Travel LLC, the traveler agrees that the legal jurisdiction for any disputes between the traveler and Discipleship Travel LLC is the Christian County Circuit Court, Ozark, Missouri.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Discipleship Travel LLC acts as a mere agent for suppliers in selling travel-related accepting services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by Discipleship Travel LLC (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). Discipleship Travel LLC, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract, supplier failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to the traveler or the traveler’s companions or group members. Unless the term “guaranteed” is specifically stated in writing on the traveler’s tickets, invoice, or reservation itinerary, Discipleship Travel LLC does not guarantee any of such supplier’s rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling, or handling of baggage or other personal effects. Discipleship Travel LLC shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, pandemics, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the control of Discipleship Travel LLC. The traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases the agents of Discipleship Travel LLC, any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety and security conditions of such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel.
In consideration of the inherent risks associated with international travel, and as part payment for the right to participate in such activity or the services arranged for the traveler by Discipleship Travel LLC or their employees and/or agents, traveler hereby assumes all of the above mentioned risks as well as any other risks related to international travel and does hereby voluntarily release Discipleship Travel LLC, their employees and/or agents and assigns, and does hereby discharge, waive and relinquish any and all actions or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death occurring to the traveler as a result of participating in such activity or activities incidental thereto, wherever or however the same may occur and for whatever period said activities may continue; and, the traveler’s heirs, executors and administrators, and assigns hereby release, waive, discharge, and relinquish any action or cases of action, aforesaid, which may arise for the traveler and the traveler’s estate, and voluntarily agrees that under no circumstances will the traveler, or the traveler’s heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, prosecute, present any claim for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death against Discipleship Travel LLC, their employees and/or agents for any of said causes of actions, whether the same shall arise by the negligence of any of said persons or otherwise. IT IS THE TRAVELER’S INTENTION BY THIS INSTRUMENT TO EXEMPT AND RELIEVE DISCIPLESHIP TRAVEL LLC, THEIR EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR WRONGFUL DEATH CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF ANYONE NOT EMPLOYED BY DISCIPLESHIP TRAVEL LLC.

Can I get a single room?
Yes, there are a limited number of single rooms available. However, there is a single supplement fee of $1100 required for a single room.
What is the difference between a full package and a ground-only package?
The only difference between the two is that the full-package provides group airfare while the ground-only package requires the participant to provide his/her own flight arrangements. This difference is reflected in the price.
If I am flying with the group, can I upgrade my ticket or confirm specific seats on my flights?
It may possible to upgrade to extra legroom seats, but only if such seats are available. The cost for upgrading a seat depends on the particular seat selected and will be provided at the time of booking.
Can Discipleship Travel LLC help me make my own flight arrangements?
If you want to purchase your own flight Discipleship Travel LLC can certainly help you with those arrangements. Please contact Craig Dunning via email.
If you want to use miles to obtain your own flight, you must deal directly with your airline’s reward department.
When should I purchase airline tickets?
In order to avoid penalties and fees imposed by the airlines should changes occur, Discipleship Travel LLC recommends waiting to purchase airfare until the minimum number of participants (15) have registered for this tour. Discipleship Travel LLC will notify all ground-only participants when minimum participation has been reached. Participants who do not participate in the group airfare arrangements bear all financial responsibilities related to providing their own airfare, and Discipleship Travel LLC is not responsible, nor will Discipleship Travel LLC reimburse such participants for any losses they incur should the group become unviable for any reason.
What should I keep in mind if I make my own flight arrangements?
The most important consideration is that you must coordinate your arrival and departure with those of the group. You must be at the airport to meet the group at the designated time of arrival. The bus will not wait for you to arrive. This may mean that you have to arrive in Israel a day earlier than the group or arrange your own transportation to meet up with the group. In that case, Discipleship Travel LLC can help you reserve a hotel room, but you will be responsible for the extra costs involved. Likewise, if you do not transfer to the airport with the group for your departure flight, you will be responsible for all extra costs related to staying longer in Israel and/or getting to the airport.
When should I arrive into Tel Aviv?
The group is scheduled to arrive at 9:55 PM on September 18, 2024. Ground-only participants should make arrangeements to meet the group at Ben Gurion Airport at that time. The bus will not wait for late-arrivals. If anyone misses the bus, they will be responsible for any costs related to meeting the group.
When should I depart from Tel Aviv?
This group is scheduled to depart at 8:25AM on September 28, 2024. Ground-only participants are welcome to ride the bus to the airport or they may make their own transfer arrangements at their own cost. Hotel rooms will be available until 10:00AM on September 28, 2024.
What is the baggage allowance?
Participants are allowed one (1) checked bag and one carry-on at no additional cost. The checked bag may weigh up to 50 pounds and measure 62 inches (L+W+D). The carry-on can measure up to 45 inches (L+W+D). Baggage restrictions can vary by airline. Therefore, it is important to verify the specific airline’s baggage regulations before you get to the airport.

Are tips included?
All tips and taxes are included. A generous tip for drivers, guides, and hotel servers is included in the tour price, but if you appreciate the service provided you are certainly welcome to leave an additional tip on the table or add to the amount provided for the guide and driver at the end of the trip.
What out-of-pocket expenses should I expect?
Lunches will be approximately $20-23 each day. Soft drinks and ice cream cost about $3 each. Bottled water is $1-3, and will be available on the bus each day. You can spend from $1 to thousands on souvenirs and collectibles. If you are interested in visiting the diamond factory, please inform your guide so that he can make arrangements.
How much walking will we be doing?
The average day includes approximately 3-5 miles of walking. This is not done in a single walk; rather it is done in small increments throughout the day, and you will have opportunities to rest along the way. Please begin preparing for this element of the tour now. Start by doing small walks, then slowly build up your distance. Also, include some inclines (hills or stairs) in your routine.
