How much walking will we be doing?
On average, each day of the tour includes 2–3 miles of walking, spread out in short segments throughout the day. You will have regular opportunities to rest, but a basic level of physical readiness is important for your comfort and enjoyment.
To prepare:
- Start walking regularly now, beginning with short distances.
- Gradually increase your distance over time.
- Include some inclines, such as hills or stairs, in your routine to build stamina.
Preparing in advance will help you fully enjoy the experience without unnecessary strain.
Any participants with health issues should consult with their medical provider for guidance on preparing for this trip.
