The published price is the cash/check discount price for DT2504 Central Baptist Greece and Ephesus Tour.

As a convenience to travelers, Discipleship Travel LLC offers the option to pay tour fees by credit/debit card or ACH (eCheck) via the company website (https://discipleshiptravel.com/payments/). By selecting to pay by a credit/debit card or an ACH payment, the traveler agrees to pay the additional fees associated with this service. A credit/debit card payment requires an additional fee of 3% of the payment amount + $0.30 transaction fee. An ACH (eCheck) payment requires an additional fee of 1% of the payment amount plus a $0.26 transaction fee. The traveler agrees to check the box on the payment portal that includes the additional fee at the time of payment, or the traveler will be billed by Discipleship Travel LLC.

All tour fees must be paid prior to travel.

The full-package price for this group is $5,200 (cash/check). The ground-only price for this group is $3,300 (cash/check). The single supplement fee is $1,100.

The Full Package begins/ends at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).

The Ground-Only package includes everything the full package includes except airfare. Ground-Only participants must a) provide their transportation to Thessaloniki, Greece (SKG) and from Athens, Greece (ATH) in coordination with the group’s itinerary; and b) provide their flight from Thessaloniki (SKG) to Athens (ATH) in coordination with the group’s itinerary. Any additional fees (e.g., airfares, taxis, missed connections, etc.) necessitated by traveling separately from the group are solely the Ground-Only traveler’s responsibility.

INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICE

Coach airfare◇; double-occupancy† accommodations in 3* and 4* hotels in Thessaloniki and Athens; breakfast and dinner^ at the hotels; entry fees; English-speaking guides; drivers; climate-controlled buses; porterage; and taxes and tips (hotel staff, drivers, and guides).

In addition to the Greece portion of this tour, the tour price also includes a double-occupancy exterior cabin (XB or XC) on a Celestyal 4-day, 3-night Aegean cruise, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the ship, and tours of Ephesus and Patmos.

Lunches in Greece, a la carte beverages at buffets (e.g., soft drinks and alcohol), daily water or snacks, souvenirs or personal expenses, any expenses resulting from illness or accident, passport costs, or any other expenses not explicitly mentioned as included in the tour brochure or web page, or any other services not explicitly mentioned as included in the tour brochure or web page.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

A non-refundable deposit of $300 must be submitted by October 1, 2024. Fifty percent (50%) of the tour price must be paid by January 22, 2025, 130 days before departure. The final balance must be paid by March 13, 2025, 80 days before departure.

LATE REGISTRATIONS AND LATE PAYMENTS

Late registrations are accepted but require a $25 non-refundable late fee.

Late payments will incur a $25 non-refundable late fee and may cause forfeiture of reservation.

LIMITED SPACE

The maximum number of participants for the 2504 Central Baptist Greece and Ephesus Tour is thirty (30). Discipleship Travel LLC has secured twenty-four (24) airline seats from Houston (IAH) and twelve (12) cabins on the cruise. Additional seats and cabins may be available at a different price. Seat and cabin upgrades may be available for an additional cost.

MINIMUM PARTICIPANTS

The minimum number of participants for this tour is twenty (20). If twenty (20) participants fail to register and make the final payment, Discipleship Travel LLC may cancel the group, and all payments, less a $200/per person handling fee, will be returned.

If the group fails to be viable, Discipleship Travel LLC is not responsible for, nor will Discipleship Travel LLC reimburse any expenses incurred by participants in preparation for the tour.

ITINERARY CHANGES

The related itinerary is subject to change due to airline disruptions, schedule changes, or local conditions, which may include, among other things, weather, security, and crowd considerations.

If an itinerary change necessitates extra overnights, each participant will be responsible for any additional costs resulting from such changes.

PASSPORTS

All participants must have a passport that is valid for at least six (6) months beyond their return date. 

Any participant who intends to travel on a non-USA passport is solely responsible for knowing and meeting the entry requirements for their destination country. The Government of Greece provides visa information here. U.S. citizens are generally allowed to travel to Greece without a visa if they are coming for tourism for a short time.  However, the decision on admission to Greece is made by Greek immigration authorities following Greek law. If a passenger is denied entry to Greece for any reason, the passenger is solely responsible for any expenses related to the denial of entry.

Each participant is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid passport. Discipleship Travel LLC is not responsible for securing participants’ passports or verifying the validity of currently held passports.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The traveler assumes all responsibility for knowing about and meeting the entry requirements for their destination, whether those requirements are related to entry visas, vaccinations, insurance, travel documents, or any other entry requirements established by the host country.

PHOTOGRAPHY

By registering for this tour, participants give Discipleship Travel LLC unrestricted permission to use and publish for promotion, print, editorial, advertising, or other related purposes, without financial compensation, any photographs or videos produced during the tour in which the participant may appear. These photographs may be produced by Discipleship Travel LLC or obtained from others.

Additionally, by registering for this tour, participants expressly release Discipleship Travel LLC from all claims or liability resulting from using said photographs and videos.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

Due to airline contracts, bus size, and included porterage, participants are allowed one checked bag, not to exceed 62 inches (length plus width plus depth), and 50 lbs. Participants may also bring one carry-on item and one personal item. Participants should consult the airline’s international baggage regulations as restrictions frequently vary by airline and may change without notice.

CANCELATION REFUND POLICY

The following cancellation/refund policy applies to 2504 Central Baptist Greece and Ephesus Tour:

Cancellations up to 131 days prior to group departure receive a full refund less a $200 fee.

Cancellations between 130-91 days prior to group departure receive a full refund less a $500 fee plus any airline/cruise line penalties.**

Any cancellation between 90-80 days prior to group departure will receive a full refund less a $1500 fee plus any airline/cruise line penalties.**

Any cancellation less than 80 days prior to group departure will receive no refund.

**Airline / Cruise line penalties refer to any cancellation fee(s) imposed by the airline or cruise line and any funds not recovered from the airline or cruise line. Based on the specific airline/cruise line contract, cancellations may result in a credit or travel voucher from the airline/cruise line, depending on the date of cancellation. Travel credits/vouchers can be used in the future according to the conditions established by the airline/cruise line.

Tours are not transferable.

TRAVEL INSURANCE NOTIFICATION

Discipleship Travel LLC recommends that travelers obtain travel insurance against risks during travel (e.g., illness/injury, missed connection, lost luggage, trip interruption, etc.) and prior to travel (e.g., trip cancellation). However, purchasing this tour package does not obligate the traveler to purchase travel insurance. Discipleship Travel LLC is not a seller of travel insurance and does not advise the traveler regarding specific insurance needs. The traveler should request policy information or clarification from a licensed travel insurance seller.

Discipleship Travel LLC provides Internet links to a travel insurance provider (AIG: Travel Guard) in the tour documents (e.g., the group webpage and client invoice) and various locations on the company website. These links are a service to our clients and should not be considered a mandate to purchase travel insurance from the linked provider.

Discipleship Travel LLC receives a referral commission if travelers purchase a travel insurance policy from any of the referral links provided by Discipleship Travel LLC.

LEGAL JURISDICTION

As a condition of purchasing a tour package from Discipleship Travel LLC, the traveler agrees that the legal jurisdiction for any disputes between the traveler and Discipleship Travel LLC is the Christian County Circuit Court, Ozark, Missouri.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Discipleship Travel LLC acts as a mere agent for suppliers in selling travel-related accepting services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by Discipleship Travel LLC (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). Discipleship Travel LLC, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract, supplier failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to the traveler or the traveler’s companions or group members. Unless the term “guaranteed” is specifically stated in writing on the traveler’s tickets, invoice, or reservation itinerary, Discipleship Travel LLC does not guarantee any of such supplier’s rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling, or handling of baggage or other personal effects. Discipleship Travel LLC shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, pandemics, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the control of Discipleship Travel LLC. The traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases the agents of Discipleship Travel LLC, any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination and all safety and security conditions of such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel.

In consideration of the inherent risks associated with international travel, and as part payment for the right to participate in such activity or the services arranged for the traveler by Discipleship Travel LLC or their employees and/or agents, traveler hereby assumes all of the above mentioned risks as well as any other risks related to international travel and does hereby voluntarily release Discipleship Travel LLC, their employees and/or agents and assigns, and does hereby discharge, waive and relinquish any and all actions or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death occurring to the traveler as a result of participating in such activity or activities incidental thereto, wherever or however the same may occur and for whatever period said activities may continue; and, the traveler’s heirs, executors and administrators, and assigns hereby release, waive, discharge, and relinquish any action or cases of action, aforesaid, which may arise for the traveler and the traveler’s estate, and voluntarily agrees that under no circumstances will the traveler, or the traveler’s heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, prosecute, present any claim for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death against Discipleship Travel LLC, their employees and agents for any of said causes of actions, whether the same shall arise by the negligence of any of said persons or otherwise. IT IS THE TRAVELER’S INTENTION BY THIS INSTRUMENT TO EXEMPT AND RELIEVE DISCIPLESHIP TRAVEL LLC, THEIR EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR WRONGFUL DEATH CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF ANYONE NOT EMPLOYED BY DISCIPLESHIP TRAVEL LLC.
