DAY 1 – March 12
Departing from SGF, the group will connect with an overnight flight to Tel Aviv.
DAY 2 – March 13
You are scheduled to arrive in Tel Aviv in the morning and will transfer to your hotel on the Sea of Galilee. On the way to the hotel, we will visit Caesarea, where Paul was imprisoned for 2 years and almost persuaded Agrippa to be a Christian; and Mount Carmel, where Elijah challenged the prophets of Ba’al (I Kings 18).
After dinner, you will have a free evening to visit with friends at the hotel or walk along the beach.

DAY 3 – March 14
This day will be spent in the north. You will visit Mount Hermon and see and raft on the headwaters of the Jordan River. At Dan, you will see Jereboam’s altar and a rare mud brick gate from the time of Abraham. Next, you will drive up to Caesarea Philippi where Peter made his confession, “Thou art the Christ, the son of the living God.” After rafting on the Jordan River, you will return to your hotel by way of the Golan Heights.
After a buffet dinner you will be free to visit the lake shore or hang out around the hotel and talk with others about the day’s activities.

DAY 4 – March 15
This promises to be a beautiful day as you focus on the ministry of Jesus. You will visit Capernaum, Jesus’ ministry center in the Galilee; see where Jesus reconciled with Peter (Jn 21); and worship on the Sea of Galilee as you take a boat across the lake. After a St. Peter’s Fish lunch break, you will have the option to visit and hike down the Mt. Arbel or visit the baptismal site at the Jordan River.
After a buffet dinner you will be free to visit the lake shore or hang out around the hotel and talk with others about the day’s activities.

DAY 5 – March 16
Today, you will visit Gideon’s Spring, where Gideon reduced the number of his soldiers (Jdg 7); Megiddo, which guards over the Valley of Armageddon. The afternoon will be spent at Nazareth Village, a first-century village that will provide a traditional meal and visual and cultural experience of village life in the times of Jesus. Finally, we’ll head down the Jordan River Valley to Masada.

DAY 6 – March 17
On today’s itinerary are Masada, the ancient desert fortress of Herod the Great; Ein Gedi where David cut Saul’s garment (1 Sam 24); Qumran, the site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and fianlly, we will float on the Dead Sea.

DAY 7 – March 18
An early breakfast will get you ready for a wonderful day in Jerusalem, the Holy City. You will ascend the Temple Mount, the most sacred area in the world for Jews and the third holiest for Muslims. You will visit the Pool of Bethesda (Jn 5) and walk a portion of the Via Dolorosa. You will visit the Western Wall and the Southern Wall excavations. You need water shoes to end the day with a walk through Hezekiah’s Tunnel. This 1750 feet long water channel takes you under the City of David to the Pool of Siloam (Jn 9).

DAY 8 – March 19
After breakfast you will ascend the Mount of Olives for an overview of Jerusalem, the Kidron Valley and the Eastern Gate. Afterward, you will descend by foot to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was betrayed by Judas, then to the Garden Tomb to remember the burial and resurrection of Jesus.
After lunch, you will visit the Jewish and Christian Quarters in the Old City.

DAY 9 – March 20
We’ll begin the day with visits to Yad ve Shem, the holocaust memorial and the Israel Museum, which hosts the Dead Sea Scrolls and a scale model of 1st Century Jerusalem. The afternoon will bring us to Bethlehem.

DAY 10 – March 21
Today is your final day. You will visit Shiloh, where the Ark of the Covenant rested for 300 years. On the way back to the hotel we will have stops at Bet Shemesh and the Elah Valley. Make sure to bring your bag to gather some smooth stones as David did (1 Sam 17).
After dinner, we will make our way back to Ben Gurion airport for our overnight return flight to SGF.

MINIMUM PARTICIPANTS: The minimum number of participants for this tour is twenty (20). In the case that twenty (20) participants fail to register and/or make final payment, the group may be canceled by Discipleship Travel LLC and all payments, less a $100/per person handling fee, will be returned. Alternatively, Discipleship Travel LLC and the group leader may agree on a supplement to be paid by each participant to continue with the tour even though there are less than twenty (20) participants. If the group fails to be viable, Discipleship Travel LLC is not responsible for, nor will Discipleship Travel LLC reimburse any expenses incurred by participants in preparation for the tour.
ITINERARY CHANGES: The related itinerary is subject to change according to local conditions, which may include, among other things, weather, security and crowd considerations. If an itinerary change necessitates extra overnights, each participant will be responsible for any additional costs.
STUDENT STUDY TRIP: This trip is a student study trip, which provides additional restrictions in certain conditions like
AIRLINE TICKETS and FLIGHT TIMES: All flight times are subject to change by the airlines without advance notice. Discipleship Travel LLC is not responsible for such changes or delays and does not reimburse expenses resulting from such delays. Discipleship Travel LLC recommends travel interruption insurance.
DEVIATIONS & CHANGES: Requests for deviations from the group’s flight itinerary are subject to availability and space plus an applicable airfare surcharge and a $300 deviation fee per person. To enable finalizing of group arrangements, requests and changes are not accepted less than 120 days prior to departure.
INSURANCE: Discipleship Travel LLC recommends that each traveler purchase a travel insurance policy that will sufficiently cover any medical emergencies that may arise. If a traveler does not have sufficient insurance coverage, that traveler will be personally responsible for his/her own medical expenses and Discipleship Travel LLC assumes no liability for any such expenses.

PASSPORTS: All participants must have a valid passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. Any participant that intends to travel on a non-USA passport, should contact Discipleship Travel LLC to determine if an entry visa is required prior to arrival in Israel. The Government of Israel provides visa information here.
It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain and maintain a valid USA passport. Discipleship Travel LLC is not responsible to secure a passport for participants, nor for the validity of currently held passports.
Participants that do not have a valid USA passport, should apply for one immediately. It generally takes 8-12 weeks to receive/renew a passport.

PHOTOGRAPHY: By registering for this tour, participants give Discipleship Travel LLC permission to use and publish photographs in which they may be included for the use of promotion, print, editorial, advertising or other related purposes. Additionally, by registering for this tour, participants specifically release Discipleship Travel LLC from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: Due to airline contracts, bus size, and included porterage, are allowed one checked bag, not to exceed 62 inches (length plus width plus depth) and 50 lbs. Participants may also bring one small carry-on item. Participants should consult the airline’s international baggage regulations as restrictions frequently vary by airline and may change without notice.
LEGAL JURISDICTION: The participant agrees that Christian County Circuit Court (110 W Elm St #202, Ozark, MO 65721) will serve as the legal jurisdiction for any disputes between participant and Discipleship Travel LLC.
CONSUMER DISCLOSURE NOTICE AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Discipleship Travel LLC is acting as a mere agent for suppliers in selling travel-related accepting services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by Discipleship Travel LLC (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). Discipleship Travel LLC, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract, failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to travelers or travelers’ companions or group members. Unless the term “guaranteed” is specifically stated in writing on your tickets, invoice, or reservation itinerary, Discipleship Travel LLC does not guarantee any of such supplier’s rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling, or handling of baggage or other personal effects. Discipleship Travel LLC shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the control of Discipleship Travel LLC. Traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases the agents of Discipleship Travel LLC, any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety and security conditions of such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel. By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions, and the possibility traveler may be unable to travel as scheduled because of personal emergency. Traveler is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against these risks; information is available through Discipleship Travel LLC regarding travel insurance.
In consideration of the inherent risks associated with international travel, and as part payment for the right to participate in such activity or the services arranged for me by Discipleship Travel LLC or their agents, I hereby assume all of the above risks and voluntarily release Discipleship Travel LLC, their agents and assigns, and do hereby discharge, waive and relinquish any and all actions or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death occurring to myself arising as a result of participating in such activity or activities incidental thereto, wherever or however the same may occur and for whatever period said activities may continue, and I do for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, and assigns hereby release, waive, discharge, and relinquish any action or cases of action, aforesaid, which may arise for myself and for my estate, and voluntarily agree that under no circumstances will I, or my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, prosecute, present any claim for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death against Discipleship Travel LLC their employees and/or agents (including travel agents) for any of said causes of actions, whether the same shall arise by the negligence of any of said persons or otherwise. A donor has made it possible for Discipleship Travel LLC to apply a $300 scholarship to the accounts of active or retired missionaries; and BBC faculty, staff, and students who are employed or enrolled at BBC at the time of the trip.
Scholarships are not automatic. The following conditions apply for BBC faculty and students:
1. Faculty may be full-time, part-time, or adjunct. BBC staff may be full-time or part-time. Students must have full-time enrollment status.
2. Scholarships are available only to faculty, staff, or students who register for the full package. Ground-Only registrations will not qualify for a scholarship.
3. Scholarships are available only to those visiting Israel for the first time.
4. Students must participate in all preparatory meetings/lectures for the trip to qualify for the scholarship. Professor Ray Adams will be the final arbiter of whether the student has sufficiently participated in the required preparatory meetings/lectures. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in preparatory meetings/lectures.
5. The scholarship will be applied as the final payment for the trip. All other financial obligations must be arranged by the recipient before the scholarship is applied.
6. The scholarship can not be combined with any other discounts or travel vouchers provided by Discipleship Travel LLC.
7. In the case of trip cancellation – for any reason – the scholarship is not refundable to the student/staff/faculty.
8. Scholarships are not transferable.

2. Scholarships are available to missionaries for either Full or Ground-Only registrations.
