Tour Itinerary**

DAY 1 – June 17

Departing from SAN, the group will connect with an overnight flight to Tel Aviv.

DAY 2 – June 18


Sunset over the Mediterranean, Netanya, Israel

You are scheduled to arrive in Tel Aviv in the the afternoon and will transfer to your hotel in Netanya, on the coast of the Mediterranean.

After dinner, you will have a free evening to visit with friends at the hotel or walk along the beach.

Overnight: Netanya


Today, you will make your way to the Sea of Galilee. Along the way, you will visit Caesarea, where Paul almost persuaded Agrippa to be a Christian; Mt. Carmel, where Elijah challenged the prophets of Ba’al; Megiddo, which guards over the Valley of Armageddon; Jezreel, the home of Ahab and Jezebel; and, finally the Nazareth Overlook, which provides an amazing look over the valley below, sometimes called the “Grand Central Station of Bible History.”

DAY 4 – June 20

This day’s activities focus on the life and ministry of Jesus, including the Church of Annunciation, Arbel Cliff, the Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, Capernaum, Magdala, and sailing on the Sea of Galilee.

After a buffet dinner you will be free to visit the lake shore or hang out around the hotel and talk with others about the day’s activities.

DAY 5 – June 21

This day will be spent in the north. You will visit Tel Dan and see Jereboam’s altar and a rare mud brick gate from the time of Abraham. Next, you will drive up to Caesarea Philippi (Banias) where Peter made his confession, “Thou art the Christ, the son of the living God.” Returning by way of the Golan Heights you will stop at Hippus.

Today, you make your way south through the Jordan River Valley. You will begin the day at Bet Shean, the city where Saul’s body was hung on the wall, and Qasr el Yehud, a possible location of Jesus’ baptism. Continuing south, you will visit Jericho, Qumran, hike at En Gedi, and swim in the Dead Sea.

DAY 7 – June 23

You will begin the day ascending Masada. Afterward, you will visit Arad, Beersheba, Lachish, Azekah, Bet Shemesh. Finally, you will finish the day at the Biblical Gardens at IBEX.

Overnight: Jerusalem

DAY 8 – June 24

An early breakfast will get you ready for a wonderful day in Jerusalem, the Holy City. You will begin the day with a lecture that provides an overview of Jerusalem. Afterward, A visit to the Old Testament Jerusalem Model will help you understand the history and development of Jerusalem during the OT period. You will visit Hezekiah’s Broad Wall, the City of David, Warren’s Shaft, the the Pool of Siloam. You will finish the day at the Citadel of David.

After breakfast, you will ascend the Temple Mount, the most sacred area in the world for Jews and the third holiest for Muslims. After coming off the Temple Mount you will make your way to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher by way of a visit the Pools of Bethesda and the Via Dolorosa. Afterward, you will make your way back to the Jewish Quarter, visiting the Cardo on the way to the Southern Steps Excavations.

The afternoon will be free.

Overnight: Jerusalem

DAY 10 – June 26

The day will begin at Zion Gate, followed by stops at the Upper Room, St. Peter Galicantu, and the Garden Tomb.

In the afternoon, you will be visiting the Israel Museum, which includes the Jerusalem Model and the Dead Sea Scroll exhibit at the Shrine of the Book.

DAY 11 – June 27

Today will be a special day. After breakfast you will ascend the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem, the Kidron Valley and the Eastern Gate. Afterward, you will descend by foot to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was betrayed by Judas.

The final stops of the morning are Bethlehem and the Herodium, Herod the Great’s final resting place.

You will have a free afternoon to spent exploring new things in the Old City, revisiting places of particular interest to you, resting, or preparing your things for your return flight. The choice is yours.

Overnight: Jerusalem

DAY 12 – June 28

You will say goodbye to Jerusalem and have an early morning transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your return flight with memories that you will cherish forever.
