All students, parents, and friends of Baptist Bible College (BBC) and the Baptist Bible Fellowship International (BBFI) are invited to join us on the discipleship adventure of a lifetime. We will walk where Jesus walked, where Elijah called down fire from heaven, where David killed Goliath, sail across the Sea of Galilee, float on the Dead Sea and so much more. Your faith will be encouraged as you study the Bible on location.


Tour Itinerary:**

DAY 1 – March 07

Departing from SGF, the group will connect with an overnight flight to Tel Aviv.

DAY 2 – MARCH 08 REGISTER HERE!

You are scheduled to arrive in Tel Aviv in the afternoon and will transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem. After dinner you will be introduced to the Holy City by visiting the Western Wall and the Rabbinic Tunnels.

DAY 3 – March 09

After breakfast you will have a FULL day in Jerusalem. You will start with a visit to the Southern Steps of the Temple before visiting the Israel Museum where you will see the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Model of the City, which will orient you to Jerusalem during the time of Jesus.

In the afternoon, you will overview Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives before walking down to the Garden of Gethsemane. There, you will consider Jesus’ betrayal before making your way through the Old City on portions of the Via Dolorosa to the Garden Tomb to reflect on Jesus death, burial, and resurrection. This promises to be a powerful day.

DAY 4 – March 10 REGISTER HERE!

Today is the Sabbath. You will notice that Jerusalem is quieter than usual. Today’s focus is the entrances and exits to Jerusalem. The day begins with a visit Bethlehem, then following David’s route to the Elah Valley where he met Goliath you will revisit the story of their battle and collect some souvenir smooth stones. Afterward, you will visit Bet Shemesh and think about the life of Samson.

After lunch, the group returns to Jerusalem to visit the visit the Upper Room and the Jewish Quarter. Afterward, you’ll have free time to shop and wander around the Old City.

DAY 5 – March 11

Although we will be leaving Jerusalem today, we still have much to see and do. We will begin the day with an early visit to the Temple Mount the most sacred area in the world for Jews and the third holiest for Muslims. After descending, we’ll visit the ancient City of David, walk through Hezekiah’s Tunnel. This 1750 feet long water channel takes you under the City of David to the Pool of Siloam (Jn 9). The remainder of the day will be spent driving north to Galilee.

DAY 6 – March 12 REGISTER HERE!

Today’s focus is the Galilean ministry of Jesus. You will visit the Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, Jesus’ ministry center, worship on the Sea of Galilee as you take a boat ride on the lake. After lunch, you will finish the day’s study tour by getting an overview of Jesus’ Galilean ministry from Mt. Arbel.

Some will choose to hike down the cliff, others will choose the bus ride down. After a buffet dinner you will be free to visit the lake shore or hang out around the hotel and talk with others about the day’s activities.

DAY 7 – March 13

This day will be spent in the north. You will visit Mount Hermon and see and raft on the headwaters of the Jordan River. At Dan, you will see Jereboam’s altar and a rare mud brick gate from the time of Abraham. Next, you will drive up to Caesarea Philippi where Peter made his confession, “Thou art the Christ, the son of the living God.” Finally, you will return to your hotel by way of the Golan Heights. After a buffet dinner you will have a free evening.

DAY 8 – March 14 REGISTER HERE!

Today, you leave the Galilee and head south to the Dead Sea. On the way, you will visit the Nazareth Village, a first-century village that will provide a visual and cultural experience of village life in the times of Jesus; Megiddo, which gaurds over the Valley of Armageddon; Mt. Carmel, where Elijah challenged the prophets of Ba’al, and Caesarea, where Paul almost persuaded Agrippa to be a Christian.

DAY 9 – March 15

Floating in the Dead SeaThe early part of this day is spent around the Dead Sea. You will take the cable car to the top of Herod’s fortress, Masada. Afterward, you will have a refreshing float in the Dead Sea. You’ll see Qumran (Dead Sea Scrolls) on the way to Jericho for lunch a visit to see the walls that fell.

After Jericho, you will ascend the ancient road to Jerusalem for your last visit to the Holy City on this trip. After a visit to the Holocaust Museum, you will visit a local church for a farewell dinner cookout.

Next stop: Ben Gurion Airport for your overnight flight back home.
