This photo provides a nice view of the Western Wall (sometimes referred to as the Wailing Wall). The area is segregated; the women’s area is in the foreground and the men’s area is beyond fencing crossing the lower portion of the photo.
These boats are for rent and can be used on the portion of the Yarkon River that runs through HaYarkon Park, also known as Sporttek.
Many other activities are available at the Sporttek, including outdoor basketball courts, a rock climbing wall, a baseball field, soccer/football/rugby fields, a walking/jogging/bike path, and at the right time of the year, a traveling circus.
This particular seal is on the outer wall of the mayor’s office in Jerusalem. But the image of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah can be seen all over the city.
