Qumran Cave 4 is without a doubt the most photographed of all the caves at Qumran. But I still like a couple photos I’ve taken. In this one, I like how the light is coming through the opening from the backside.
This fox was photographed at Qumran Cave 4B. He was attempting to catch some pigeons with whom he shares the cave. Because he was so focused on his prey, I was able to get his photo before he recognized my presence.
To help you get perspective on the photos above, I provide an aerial photo of Qumran that has been helpfully labeled. It is provided courtesy of our friends at BiblePlaces.com.
