Tour Itinerary**

DAY 1 – March 6

Departing from from the USA, you will take an overnight flight to Tel Aviv.

DAY 2 – March 7


Sunset over the Mediterranean, Netanya, Israel

You should schedule to arrive in Tel Aviv to meet Ray Adams at Ben Gurion Airport at 4PM. After the group gathers you will transfer to your hotel in Netanya, on the coast of the Mediterranean.

After dinner, you will have a free evening to visit with friends at the hotel or walk along the beach.

Today, you will make your way to the Sea of Galilee. Along the way, you will visit Caesarea, where Paul almost persuaded Agrippa to be a Christian; Mt. Carmel, where Elijah challenged the prophets of Ba’al; Megiddo, which guards over the Valley of Armageddon; Gideon’s Spring, Sephoris and, finally the Nazareth Village, a first-century village that will provide a visual and cultural experience of village life in the times of Jesus.

DAY 4 – March 9

This day will be spent in the north. You will visit Mount Hermon and see and raft on the headwaters of the Jordan River. At Dan, you will see Jereboam’s altar and a rare mud brick gate from the time of Abraham. Next, you will drive up to Caesarea Philippi where Peter made his confession, “Thou art the Christ, the son of the living God.”

In the afternoon, you will raft on the Jordan River. Finally, you will return to your hotel by way of the Golan Heights.

After a buffet dinner you will be free to visit the lake shore or hang out around the hotel and talk with others about the day’s activities.

DAY 5 – March 10

This promises to be a beautiful day as you focus on the ministry of Jesus. The day begins sailing on the Sea of Galilee. Afterward, you will visit the Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, and other locations related to Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee.

After lunch, begin your journey to Jerusalem, stopping at Qasr el-Yahud,  a possible location of Jesus’ baptism, the the Wadi Qelt, and the Mount of Olives.

After a buffet dinner at your hotel you may want to adventure into the Old City or simply get settled in and rested for an early morning tomorrow.

An early breakfast will get you ready for a wonderful day in Jerusalem, the Holy City. You will ascend the Temple Mount, the most sacred area in the world for Jews and the third holiest for Muslims. You will visit the Pool of Bethesda (Jn 5) and walk a portion of the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. You will visit the Southern Wall excavations.

After lunch you will visit the Temple Treasures and have some time to shop. Then, after dinner you will walk through the Western Wall Tunnel.

DAY 7 – March 12

A very early start will take you to the Dead Sea Valley, including stops at Masada, Ein Gedi, the Dead Sea, Qumran, and Jericho.

After arriving back in Jerusalem, you will have a nice walk through the Old City.

DAY 8 – March 13

Today will be another wonderful day in Jerusalem, the Holy City. You will begin the day at the Western Wall. Next, the City of David will take you back to the time of the kings of Israel. You need water shoes for your walk through Hezekiah’s Tunnel. This 1750 feet long water channel takes you under the City of David to the Pool of Siloam (Jn 9).

After lunch you will see the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Israel Museum, then have a somber visit at the Holocaust Museum. Before returning to the hotel, you will spend time at the Mount of Olives and the Garden of Gethsemane.

Overnight: Jerusalem


Today will be a special day. You will start the day in Bethlehem, visiting the Church of Nativity, the Shepherd’s Field, the Shrine of the Milk Grotto, and the Herodium.

In the afternoon, you will remember the burial and resurrection of Jesus at the Garden Tomb.

After bidding farewell to Jerusalem, you will head to Ben Guiron International Airport for your return flight. On the way, you will have two more stops. You will rehearse the story of David and Goliath in the Elah Valley, then recount Samson’s life at Bet Shemesh.

DAY 10 – March 15

After an overnight flight, you will arrive home with memories that will last a lifetime.
